A house on the river
A converted mining building of the kind you find all through these mountains, standing on the bank of the Torío — with a drying room for waders and a bench for tying flies.

Built around how anglers actually live
Where it is
The house sits in the central León mountains, twenty-five kilometres from the city. It is a privileged valley by any measure — the Vegacervera gorges, the Valporquero caves and the beech wood of Orzonaga are all within a short drive, and the Torío runs past the door.
From here, on low-traffic roads, you can be on several different rivers and some genuinely legendary beats inside a few minutes. For an angler it is close to the ideal address: enough water to never fish the same day twice, and somewhere quiet to come back to.
León airport is a short drive. Most guests fly into Madrid, Bilbao or Asturias and drive; we can advise on the run that suits your dates.
