Wild trout, wild water.
A fly fishing lodge and guide service in the mountains of northwest Spain — where three and a half thousand kilometres of river hold native brown trout, and the dry fly works all season long.

Salmo trutta, and nothing stocked
The trout in these rivers are native. Thousands of years of evolution have left them entirely wild in behaviour, marked with patterns particular to the water they came from, and quite capable of humbling anyone. Under good conditions a day can run to thirty or forty fish. On other days one careful trout is the whole story.
- Mayfly, caddis, stonefly and terrestrialsSizes 12 to 22, with hatches through the whole season.
- Dry fly all seasonThe thing that separates León from most trout destinations.
- Catch and releaseEvery fish goes back.
Three things we do properly

The people you'll be fishing with
Between them they have won a Spanish national title, captained the national team to a World Championship medal, and spent ten years fishing rivers from Andorra to the Arctic. They live here.

“Yasmany and his team offer incredible fishing and service. We had a great few days with them exploring the rivers, food and bars of León. We will be back.”

River care
The rivers come first
Everything here depends on the health of the water. We fish catch and release, run clean-up campaigns on our own rivers, and spend time with guests, guides and the surrounding community on why these ecosystems matter. It is not a side project — without healthy rivers there is no business.
